Those home at the time were his mother: Sarah (45), recorded as a native of Germany who immigrated in 1883 and had been married 21 years and his siblings: Charles Jacob "Jacob" (25), a lawyer in general practice, born in New York Mary (23), a clerk, born in New York Louis (17), a salesman in a clothing store, born in New York David (15), a salesman in a department store, born in Massachusetts 13-year-old Dorothy "Dora", born in Massachusetts 11-year-old Henry, born in Missouri and 8-year-old Helena, born in Massachusetts.
